Our Worship Philosophy
Worship expressed through song is a critical element of our culture here at City Wide Church and is important in helping us connect with God's presence. Our desire is to build strong worship teams made up of volunteers from all walks of life, with a musical talent, a passion to grow in their faith and a heart to lead others to Jesus.
We don't just lead songs, we lead souls.
'But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. ' John 4:23
Volunteer Roles
Vocalist
Use your voice to lead our church into worship. Whether you sing melody or harmony, you’ll help create an atmosphere where people can encounter God.
We are also looking for Bilingual vocalists who can sing in Spanish.
Instrumentalist
Bring your skill on guitar, drums, keys, or bass to support a Spirit-led sound that helps carry the worship experience with excellence and unity.
Expectations & Requirements
Listed below are the requirements for the application process. Please be sure to have completed all requirements before submitting your application.
- Blue Foundation Class.
- Christian Education Classes: Next Steps and Purpose, Church & Me.
- Referral letter from a pastor or ministry leader.
- Must be 18 or older (If younger than 18 please reach out for more information at worship@citywidechurch.us).
- Submit an audition video covering the songs listed on the application form.
